Crown Ward Store
Market 26 provides an opportunity for Crown Wards living independently to access a monthly limited supply of household supplies such as laundry soap, toilet paper and garbage bags, personal hygiene products and non-perishable food items, all free of charge. The idea is to help supplement their limited monthly income and hopefully help ease the stress of making ends meet.
Inventory for the store was initially made available courtesy of a one-time grant through the city’s Homelessness Initiative and the Society will be seeking community support to help maintain inventory and continue operating this program.
Monetary donations and in-kind donations to this program are gratefully accepted. Supporting Market 26 is an ideal way for youth to help other youth through team or school fundraisers.
