Crown Ward Bursaries
Children and youth who are in the permanent care of the Society often face barriers when it comes to completing their education. The Crown Ward Bursary Fund gives these youth a chance to pursue their post-secondary education goals and dreams by assisting with the cost of tuition at post-secondary institutions.
Each year, the Society invites Crown Wards hoping to pursue their education by attending a trade school, college or university, to submit an application to the Crown Ward Bursary Fund. Applications are reviewed by a selection committee and the allotted funding is dispersed among applicants and awarded at the Society’s Annual General Meeting.
