Tribute Gift
A tribute gift to The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton is a meaningful way to acknowledge a special occasion such as a birthday, anniversary or other important life event or to express gratitude to someone who has made a special impact on your family’s life, such as a teacher, coach, or even your family doctor.
Tribute gifts will be directed to the Children’s Fund to be used where they are most needed, or you can designate your gift to a specific program such as Summer Camp, Holiday Sponsorship, the Crown Ward Store or Crown Ward Bursaries.
When you make a tribute gift, please include your honouree’s full name and mailing address so that we can send a personalized card announcing your gift and outlining the wonderful opportunities that are provided to vulnerable children in our community courtesy of kind donors.
In Memoriam
Donations to the Society in memory of an individual that has touched your life are a wonderful way to recognize an individual and show your support to their family.
In memoriam donations are directed to the Society’s Children’s Fund (unless requested otherwise) to be used to support disadvantaged children and youth in the Society’s care with opportunities that enrich and shape their young lives. Such donations enable children to participate in dance lessons, learn to draw, play on a sports team, attend school trips, go to summer camp, enroll in college, etc. You can be sure that the impact of your in memoriam gift will be positive and long-lasting.
In memoriam cards are available at funeral homes across Hamilton, or can be obtained by contacting the Society. When making a contribution in memory of an individual, please be sure to include the person’s name as well as the contact information for their next of kin so that the Society can inform them of your gift.
