Children's Fund

The recreational, therapeutic and educational opportunities made available through the Children’s Fund play an important role in positively impacting the lives of children and youth in the Society’s care.

Parents want what is best for their children and the Society is no different. The Children’s Fund ensures the Society is able to provide children and youth in care with the same opportunities as their peers. It enables them to attend summer camp, participate on sports teams, go on school trips, pursue hobbies and interests, etc. All of these opportunities enrich and enhance their young lives while also enabling them to make new friends, learn new skills and simply have fun.

The Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton strongly believes in supporting Crown Wards that have dreams of attending college, university or trade school. The Children’s Fund helps make this possible by assisting Crown Wards living independently and offering a number of financial bursaries to assist with the high cost of post-secondary education.
